We have a new series starting on BBC Radio 4 tonight. It’s called Lemn Sissay’s Poetry Rebels.
“How did performance poetry conquer the poetry world? Lemn Sissay tells the incendiary story of how rebels stormed the poetry establishment, and how they have transformed poetry on both stage and page.”
It’s a series about spoken word poets and their ongoing battles with the poetry estabishment, and it’s a fun listen (even for non-poetry fans)
You can hear the series on Radio 4 on Friday nights at 7pm, throughout December.
